When talking about the track itself, NERVO explains, “We wanted to make a record that worked on the dancefloor for the summer but also had some lyrical substance. We’ve all had those SOBERing moments when you realise a relationship isn’t what you thought it was and this is what this song is about. It’s a melancholy summer song. Hopefully people will be able to relate while having a dance at the same time.” “Sober” uses Mim and Liv’s powerful vocals talking about the sobering realizations of a breakup.
The pair has really been making waves since 2009, previously working with David Guetta, Kelly Rowland, Kylie Minogue, Ke$sha, and Armin van Buuren. Some of the biggest names they collaborated with last year include Sofi Tukker, The Knocks, and Alisa Ueno. They’ve also partnered up with Nile Rodgers, Steve Aoki, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Nicky Romero as they continuously gained success.
The sister duo is all about girl power as well as they are set to perform at EDC Las Vegas, Creamfields, Tomorrowland, and Ultra this year!
