The scene opened up a lot about anxiety, traveling loneliness, drug abuses and of course the Avicii drama that happened. What are your thoughts on that?
Well, Hardwell is stopping his career tonight. -What? -Yeah! Not his career, but he is stopping for a decent amount of time, just to… He needs to be Robert again. I think what happened to Avicii really triggered him as well. And I think it is really good to have this dialogue and to talk about this with other Producers and other DJs. Because it’s not only us… You see with our hands in the air, always smiling and on Instagram it’s always « Party, party, party ». But the pressure and how to cope with pressure… A lot of guys can handle it and some can’t. I think it’s really good to open the dialogue. Like for instance, yesterday, someone came to me, I was like « how are you doing? » and someone was like « Actually I’m not doing really well, because of too much pressure, industry is changing and I don’t know hope to cope with that… »
