We’re giving you a guide to the international music summit in Ibiza!

IMS Ibiza

The international music summit is an educational, inspirational, and motivational thought leadership platform that aims to create awareness on the importance of appreciation for electronic music. They discuss anything related to being a DJ and the art of music on all platforms through presentations and events, promoting various cultures worldwide! The international music summit has three locations: Los Angeles, China, and what we’ll be talking about today, Ibiza!

IMS Ibiza, specifically, is a three-day event that holds seminars and debates among the top electronic dance music leaders around the community. There are keynotes, interviews, panels, and technology master classes for all of those who want to get into the industry and want to be a party of the future of electronic music. The IMS Business Report, which has become the industry’s leading data study, is one of the highlights of IMS Ibiza because it shows some of the most major facts and developments in the industry. This is where EDM settles industry deals, holds the biggest press launches, and becomes a talking point for worldwide media.

If you want to catch a glimpse of what IMS Ibiza is all about, here’s a video! (only until 1:06)

The IMS Talks

Through the IMS talks, you’ll be able to dive in, share the vision, and explore the topics that shape electronic music.

Last year, IMS Talks had subjects pertaining to “Celebrating Inclusion, Diversity, and Community,” “How To Sleep Better by Tom Middleton,” and “Disruptors, No Rules - Presented by Young Guns Network.”

On the other hand, the top talks of 2017 included: “Loco Dice and DJ Mag for Burn,” “The Black Madonna,” and “Clubland in Crisis.”

The IMS Legends Dinner

This celebratory banquet invites the community to come together in honor of a leading pioneer of electronic music. Past awardees include Nile Rodgers, Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong, and Carl Cox. Only those with VIP access to IMS Ibiza will be invited to the event!

The Remedy State Arete

Quoting Michelangelo, “The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short, but setting our aim too low and achieving our mark.”

Arete, by The Remedy State, is a completely different side of IMS Ibiza. Its mission is for excellence through arts and entertainment, created by Ben Turner and Blaise James DeAngelo having a mutual goal to promote the well-being of those in the industry.

They believe that long nights, odd-hours, and too much travel can cause stress and health hazards that cannot be ignored, so the program has a holistic approach inspired by ayurveda and integrated medicine centered on nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, sleep, and physical therapy.

Arete wants to help the community by: alleviating stress and anxiety, increasing mental clarity and focus, improving overall physical health, understanding nutritional best practices, maintaining emotional wellbeing, enhancing creativity and performance, and realizing everyone’s full potential.

So, Arete has numerous aspects like: retreat, resort, integrated medicine, nutritional therapy, speakers, and workshops! Find out how you can be a part and register into this program through their website!
